On Wednesday, April 12, 2023, three of One Beautiful World’s teen volunteers were presented with President’s Volunteer Service Awards by Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz.
The recipients, Claire Cabillot, 18, Anthony Berrio, 15, and Emily Berrio, 13, each received gold level awards, representing over 250 hours of community service in the past year. Their volunteer activities ranged from nursing home visits to gleaning fields for donation to a food bank. Each youth received a certificate, a medallion, and a letter from President Biden commending them for their service.
