From 2009-2020, our visits took place monthly, usually on the first Saturday of the month. Since the onset of Covid-19, we have had small drop-off visits at which we bring flowers and donations to the residents. We are returning to regular monthly visits the year.
If you wish to send greetings to the residents, send your cards and notes in care of Belkys Rodriguez, Regents Park of Sunrise 9701 W. Oakland Park Blvd. Sunrise, FL 33351.
The facility has reopened to visitors. They are always in need of clothes, books, games, and puzzles for the residents. Because of of monthly flower deliveries, they are also in need of vases. If you would like to make a donation, or join us for a visit, Regents Park of Sunrise is located on the north side of Oakland Park Blvd., just east of Nob Hill Road. Look for the Westchester sign. There are two separate facilities on the premises. Go to Regents Park, not Westchester. When you turn in, go to the building to the right and rear. You can leave donations at the front desk during regular business hours. Mark them for the attention of Belkys Rodriguez.

Our Youth Board has formed a team to help elderly individuals learn how to use their devices to stay in touch with family, play games, and read online. They are also collecting tablets, laptops, and phones for the elderly. If you have functioning devices to donate, or if you are a tech-savvy youth interested in teaching people how to use their devices, contact us at info@one-beautiful-world.org. Service hours are provided for our youth volunteers.
